color therapy: yellow

Yellow, to me, is one of the happiest of colors. I like yellows with a good amount of saturation to them, nothing too pastel that screams of Eastertime. Here are a few photos I shot recently where a good dose of yellow brings about a lot of brightness.

It's the simplest things in life that when we take the time to really enjoy, we can allow ourselves to be happy. Whether it is a pot shared with friends or a cup enjoyed alone, tea is one of those little things in my life that always makes me happy.

I have seen this picture on several different sites, so I'm not sure who to give credit to for such a great visual. I love the simplicity of the logic, and its to-the-point message. Plus, isn't it just so true?

being home after a business trip, a very busy day of work and a long drive in the rain. Coming in, sitting down and hearing the rain beating against the windows makes me feel so grateful for so many of life's little and not so little things...
