One of the little things in life that makes me so very happy is the arrival of Honeycrisp apples in the fall. These crisp and never mushy apples - with a honey-like sweetness, plus with just a hint of tartness - live up to their name (unlike Red Delicious that might be red, but are often times anything but delicious). I like other types of apples too - but there is just something really wonderful about Honeycrisps.
