The colors here in Madison are stunning this time of year, and on a cloudless and warm day, there's no better way to enjoy the fall colors than from Lake Mendota, the largest of this fair city's three lakes. Our friends took us out on their boat recently, and the views were amazing! There were so few people out on the water so we pretty much had the entire lake to ourselves. We even spotted a bald eagle flying overhead (no picture, but you'll have to take my word). I feel so lucky to call Madison home!
