Though I do have a sewing machine, and I can do basic hems, a great seamstress I am not. I felt the need for a little challenge and as I had some beautiful Thai cloth in my possession - gifted to me by my relatives - I thought accent pillows would be a great use of these colorfully patterned fabrics. I made a pillow once in a middle school home economics class, and I think I surprised myself by remembering how to assemble the cloth to sew it so that the pillow inside can be removed. I think my husband was even more surprised when he saw my creations!
