a room reborn (again)

You might remember a blog post back in January, entitled "a room without a view". We had taken the previous owner's nursery and turned it into our "serenity room" - a room for yoga and meditation. The room has received another facelift, and I absolutely love the results!

simple and sparce,
perfect for yoga
My in-laws generously gave us a queen sized bed, so we moved the double bed that used to be in the guest room into this newly decorated room. All I bought to decorate what I'm calling "the turquoise room" was a new bed skirt, pillow shams, an accent pillow and a wall mirror for a total of $60! Everything else we had saved from previous houses and apartments. This might just be my new favorite room in the house!

another view - did you notice the persimmon
afghan I knitted this past winter?
